About the Centre

International Centre of Excellence for Dams, a pioneer organisation established through a collaboration between IIT Roorkee and Central Water Commission, Ministry of Jal Shakti (MoJS) serves as a technological arm of the MoJS, offering specialized technical support in investigations, modelling, research & innovations, and technical support services for dam owners in India and abroad. The Centre is being developed and shaped by faculty members of the Department of Hydrology, Civil Engineering, Earthquake Engineering and other departments of IIT Roorkee and CWC and national and international experts.
